Azibo, the better Zelle alternative

Accepting rent through Zelle can seem like an easy solution and one often requested by renters. However, what might seem like a simple solution can lead to issues with rent collection and additional work down the road.

How does Azibo stack up when compared to its competition?

Automatic late fees                            
Late fees will automatically be added to late rent invoices and not optional for renters to pay.
Even if late, renters paying with Zelle can simply send you the rent amount due, leaving you chasing them for late fees.
Blocking partial payments                             
Partial payments make it hard to evict, and renters know this. Azibo allows you to choose to accept or block partial payments.
Renters will often Zelle part of the rent to avoid eviction and there is nothing you can do to block it.
Multiple bank accounts
Link unlimited bank accounts, automatically routing to different receiving accounts for each property, portfolio or payment type (rent vs security deposit).
With Zelle, you would need to manage which contact information you give which renter to ensure payments go where you want them.
Keep your personal information private
Renters pay directly through Azibo, so they never need to know any of your contact information.
You need to share the name and email address connected to your bank account.

Unlimited
Limits vary by sending and receiving bank. Renters often need to send payments over multiple days due to limits.
Multiple forms of payment acceptance
Renters can choose to pay rent via bank account, credit or debit card, or cash.
Renters can only pay through their bank account.

Renters receive automatic reminders to pay rent.
You’ll have to manually remind your renters to pay rent.
Scheduled payments
Auto-pay allows your renters to "set it and forget it" leading to on-time payments and no-effort rent collection.
Zelle relies on renters sending a new transaction every month, leading to late payments and extra work to remind them.
Credit boost
Renters can choose to report rent payments to credit bureaus to increase their credit score by simply paying on time.
Zelle does not offer credit reporting for rent payments.
